A Banks Guitar is a one-of-a-kind instrument made specifically for you. We will guide you in the process, but you will have some decisions to make including:

The types of wood for:

• Nut string spacing based on your typical strings
• Custom inlays
• Rosette
• Purflings

This depends on the custom options you choose. We would be happy to provide a detailed quote based on your specifications. 

Base Custom Banks Guitar

Body: Dreadnaught or OM

Soundboard: Spruce or Mahogany

Sides and Back: East Indian Rosewood or Mahogany

Fretboard and Bridge: East Indian Rosewood

Binding: East Indian Rosewood or custom

Current base model price: $3,000

This may seem like a low price for a custom handcrafted all wood acoustic guitar using the exact same materials and quality workmanship as guitars that cost thousands more. The reason for our low price is that we are a new builder and our plan is to slowly increase our prices as we develop more experience and build our reputation.

Our guitars are individually handcrafted to your exact specifications using the same materials as the best guitars in the world. The large manufacturers are making hundreds of really great guitars every day. It's up to you.

We only build a few guitars per year. Currently our lead time 3-4 months. That being said, a Banks guitar is done when it is done. If you have a gig next week and need a new guitar, you will have to go to the guitar store. 

If you purchase a Banks guitar and something is wrong or you just don't like it you have two options within the first month of ownership. We can try to fix it to your liking or you can return it. We are confident someone else will want it.
